Entering La Grande Epicerie de Paris is discovering an astonishing universe, a praise to our French products mixed up with rare international goods that can not be found anywhere else in Paris. At the center of these culinary discoveries helds a cellar where the curiosity of amators invites them to discover the French and international wines that are selected and reveals a real passion.
Xavier Pariente was here to present the wines of Troplong Mondot to the cellar team of La Grande Epicerie and their clients. A very interesting moment of discussions and enriching discoveries. We deeply thank all the team of La Grande Epicerie for this wonferful evening.
Still on the Parisian left bank we go to Grains Nobles, a wine tasting school, to meet twenty very curious students and tell them our story. A tasting commentated by Xavier Pariente for the vintages 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2006, 2004, 2003 and Mondot 2011. A very attractive vertical tasting presenting our wines through different aspects : the astonishing 2013, the silky 2012, the freshness of 2004 … they all have different features of personality and a different history. The 2011 vintage was unanimously the most liked vintage on that evening.
This journey ends at The Pavillon Ledoyen, a unique site in one of the most stunning avenues in the world.
In this superb neo-classic style structure with countless large windows we present our wines to the sommellerie team and to the three Michelin star chef Yannick Alléno. A master class marked by the visionnary state of mind of the chef for the wines of Troplong Mondot, culinary ideas gushed out and created ambitious associations.
Three very different master classes which knew how to associate originality and exclusivity.
Paris, we will certainly be back.
